Garima 'the art illiterate'
..I know not who I am
I resist labels, artistic nomenclature and fixed identities. I hesitate to call myself an artist, and often see myself more as a medium through which some intuitive energy takes form.
My practice emerges from a discomfort with identity and a spiritual refusal of fixed labels.
Before finding art as my ikigai, I spent over a decade in various global IT leadership roles. I am also the founder of ArtChachi, a women-led art consultancy supporting marginalized artists in India.
My practice remains open, evolving, and intuitive. I am also a live-painting enthusiast, translating the intangible rhythm of music into tangible brushstrokes.
