Action Painting / Live Art
Live painting has been a passion for me for more than a decade now. Even when I was not practising it visibly, colours were always dripping in my mind.
I have always felt that art is a transmission of energy on canvas. Sometimes an emotion arrives with such force that it cannot be planned, paused, or polished. It has to move directly through the body. This is where my idea of Action Art began — making work in the flow of an emotion and not stopping until the energy completes itself.
For me, action painting is about pouring real-time emotions onto the canvas without adulteration. The intangible suddenly starts taking a tangible form. A feeling that had no body becomes colour, movement, texture, and mark.
Alongside action painting, I am deeply drawn to Live Art — painting in front of people, often in response to music, atmosphere, and the energy of a gathering. Live painting allows the audience to witness the artwork as it evolves, breathes, struggles, transforms, and finally arrives.
At its heart, my live painting practice is about translating the intangible rhythm of music into the tangible movement of paint on canvas. It is where sound becomes colour, emotion becomes gesture, and the energy of the moment leaves behind a visible trace.
